Château Roc de Cazade — Bordeaux AOP

The domaine belongs to the Lambert family and has done ever since 1945. Their daughter Gilberte married René Cazade in 1960.

Initially a polyculture farming business for cattle breeding and a small amount of wine production, the family soon opted for viticulture as their main business activity owing to the René’s expertise and passion for producing wines.

Château Roc de Cazade is planted with the appellation’s traditional varietals: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds and Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle for the whites.

Some parcels are over 40 years old and were planted by the family’s first generation of winemakers. Gilberte grew up amongst these vines and continues to nurture them on a daily basis.

The vines are planted in the clay-limestone soils of the Entre-Deux mers region which give them their unrivaled aromatic intensity.

Thanks to Philip Cazade’s hard work and dedication, Roc de Cazade is now exported to numerous European countries. Consumers enjoy its exceptional balance and aromatic intensity, for both the reds and the whites.

This is a wine to be enjoyed amongst friends and the perfect partner for moments of relaxation and celebration. The red works perfectly with grilled meats, sauce-based dishes and cheeses. The white is the ideal choice for an aperitif or a seafood platter.
